QRZ, indicativos secundarios y LoTW-Support

En esta época del año es un placer para nosotros poder anunciar algunas importantes novedades para nuestros usuarios de QRZ.

Nosotros tenemos un mayor desrrollo en nuestra base de datos de indicativos y logbook online.

El gran anuncio para nuestra base de datos es que ahora nosotros tenemos soporte completo para indicativos secundarios. Un indicativo secundario es uno el cual incluye una barra mas una modificación como un prefijo o un sufijo al indicativo primario. Esta característica está disponible para todos los usuarios de QRZ y se accede a ella simplemente editando el indicativo, o usando " my account choice" del menú principal de QRZ localizado bajo tu indicativo arriba a la derecha de la página.

Con indicativos secundarios, tu puedes crear una página especial para activaciones QRP, por ejemplo, una página especial para un repetidor, o una única operacion. Esto quiere decir que indicativos como AA7BQ, AA7BQ/R, AA7BQ/MM están ahora soportados completamente y cada uno tiene su propia página QRZ. Estos indicativos están insertados en tu indicativo primario de tal forma que tu el estado de tu suscripción sigue los indicativos secundarios. Además, en la barra de detalles de cada página hay una lista de "see also" (" ve también " ) que muestra que otros indicativos están relacionados con el primario.

Básicamente, si a ti te divierte la página de QRZ y te gustaría crear una página especial secundaria tu mismo, tu lo puedes hacer ahora mismo. Estas páginas ofrecen lo mismo, completa funcionalidad como nuestras páginas corrientes de indicativos.

Además, nosotros también tenemos soporte para prefijos y sufijos tales como AA7BQ o YU3/AABQ. Cualquier combinación funcionará, y el servidor es capaz de buscar tu indicativo con barra / incluso si el prefijo o sufijo es cambiado, dado la vuelta . También, a diferencia de los indicativos primarios, los secundarios pueden ser borrados por sus propietarios en cualquier momento.

Nuestro otro anuncio es en relación a logbook online.. Muchísima gente nos ha preguntado por la integración LoTW y nosotros estamos encantados de anunciar que esto está ahora disponible para todos los subscriptores de QRZ. Esto quiere decir, que sí ti eres un usuario de LoTW, tu puedes mandar tus logs de QRZ directamente a LoTW con sólo un par de clics del ratón. El logbook ofrece opciones para enviar QSO's individuales, o incluso de entero logbook directamente a LoTW. Nosotros hemos creado una página de configuración la cual te permite importar tu certificado de LoWT a QRZ de forma que nosotros podemos firmar y enviar los logos en tu nombre.

Una vez subida, tu QSO's en el logbook de QRZ será marcada , sombreada, con un fondo verde, indicando que nosotros la hemos enviado.

QRZ Announces Secondary Callsign and LoTW Support
It's that time of year and we're very pleased to announce some very significant new features for our QRZ users.
We have major new developments in our callsign database, and our online logbook.
The big announcement for our callsign database is that we now fully support secondary callsigns. A secondary callsign is one which includes a slash plus a modifier as either a prefix or a suffix to the primary call. This feature is available to all QRZ users and can be accessed by simply editing your callsign, or by using the My Account choice from the main QRZ menu, located under your callsign at the top right of the page.

With secondary callsigns, you can now create a special page for your QRP operations, for example, or a special page for your repeater, or other unique operation. This means that calls like AA7BQ/QRP, AA7BQ/R, AA7BQ/MM are now fully supported and each gets its own QRZ page. These calls are grafted onto your primary call in such a manner that your subscriber status follows with the secondary callsign. In addition, on the Detail tab of each page, there is a "See Also" listing that shows which other callsigns are related to the same primary call.

Basically, if you've enjoyed your QRZ page and would like to create a second specialty page for yourself, you can do it right now. These pages offer the same, full functionality as our regular callsign pages.

In addition, we also support DX prefixes and suffixes such as AA7BQ/VP2 or YU3/AA7BQ. Any combination will work, and, the server is capable of finding your slashed call, even if the prefix/suffix is reversed! Also, unlike primary calls, secondary callsigns may be deleted by their owners at any time.

Our next big announcement concerns our online logbook. Many, many folks have asked us for LoTW integration and we're pleased to announce that this is now available to all Logbook subscribers. This means that if you're an LoTW user, you can push your QRZ logs directly to LoTW with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. The logbook offers options to send individual QSO's, lists of QSO's, or even your entire logbook directly to LoTW. We have created a configuration page which allows you to import your LoTW certificate into QRZ so that we can sign and send the logs on your behalf.

Once uploaded, your QSO's in the QRZ logbook will be shaded with a green background, indicating that they have been sent.
