The Project Blue Horizon 6 high-altitude transatlantic balloon flight is scheduled for Friday, March 23rd at 2300 EST from Owego, NY. The Project Blue Horizon team is attempting to break current Amateur Radio high-altitude balloon record for duration and duration (57 hours 2 minutes). We currently estimate a 4400 mile flight spanning 100 hours. Please see www.projectbluehorizon.com for detailed flight path information. The payload will be carried beneath a 54,000 cubic foot capacity helium-filled balloon cruising between 85,000 and 100,000 feet. During the flight amateurs worldwide are encouraged to monitor the N2XE CW telemetry beacons at 7.1023 and 10.1466 MHz. The balloon is also equipped with an APRS beacon at 144.39 MHz using the call sign KD2AUC. Amateurs can send reports via e-mail to pbh18.data@gmail.com or manually enter received data points at www.projectbluehorizon.com. Podeis hacer el seguimiento por aprs.fi lleva baliza en 144.390 Mhz. que es la frecuencia americana, así que los amigos portugeses y los gallegos monitorizar esa frecuencia a ver si lo escuchais y poneis el globo en la red con un igate.

Lleva tambien telemetría en 7.1023 y 10.1466 MHz., se puede probar de sintonizar esas frecuéncias a ver si se escucha algo.
