Este sábado 4, 12 horas de concurso europeo EUHF

Me gustaría participar en el primer no nacional, pero no encuentro las bases.

1. OBJECTIVE

For European amateurs to contact as many other European amateurs and compete for the "European HF Champion" title. Only EU to EU contacts count, considering CQWW countries list.

2. CONTEST PERIOD

Every year, first Saturday in August, from 12:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC (August 4, 2018).

3. BANDS

All amateur bands from 1.8 MHz through 28 Mhz, except WARC bands.

4. ENTRY CATEGORIES

Single operator All band categories only:

High Power categories: Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts at any time.

Low Power categories: Total output power must not exceed 100 watts at any time.

Logs with all QSOs on single mode will be accepted as "single mode" (CW or SSB) logs.

Terms of Competition for all categories:

5. a) All entrants must operate within the limits of their chosen category when performing any activity that could affect their submitted score. Only the entrant’s Call Sign may be used to aid the entrant’s score.
   b) Only one transmitted signal is allowed at any time. Only one operator is allowed to perform all of the operating and logging functions and only one Call Sign is allowed from a particular radio station.
   c) All operation must take place from one operating site. Transmitter and receiver must be located within a 500-meter diameter circle.
   d) Remote operation is permitted if the physical location of all transmitters, receivers, and antennas are at one station location. A remotely operated station must obey all station license, operator license, and category limitations. The call sign used must be one issued or permitted by the Regulatory Authority of the station location. Remote receivers outside of the station location are not permitted.
   e) Any public QSO alerting assistance is allowed for all categories. This includes, but is not limited to, DX Cluster-type networks, local or remote Skimmer and/or Skimmer-like technology and reverse beacon network.
   f) Self-spotting or asking to be spotted is not permitted.
   
   EXCHANGE

RS(T) report and two-digit number of the YEAR OF OPERATOR'S FIRST EVER OFFICIAL AMATEUR RADIO LICENCE irrespective from which station operation takes place or which Call Sign is used in the contest.

NOTE:

- i.e. 59(9) 82 means that first ever official amateur radio licence was issued in 1982

- SWL licence also counts as official amateur radio licence

- there is no exception regarding Special Event Call Signs etc., exactly the same rules apply as written above, operator’s first ever official licence counts as valid exchange

- please contact the organizer before the contest if you are unsure or in doubt about the correct contest exchange

6. MULTIPLIERS

Multipliers are different two-digit numbers, meaning the last two digits of the year of operator's first ever official amateur radio licence. The multiplier is counted only once per band regardless of mode.

7. QSO POINTS

Each completed valid contact counts one (1) point regardless of mode. The same station may be worked once per band and mode.

8. SCORING

The final score is the sum of QSO points from all bands multiplied by the sum of multipliers from all bands.

9. BAND AND MODE CHANGES
10. a) In single mode (CW only, SSB only) categories a maximum of ten (10) band changes may be made in any clock hour (00 through 59 minutes)

1. b)In mixed mode (CW/SSB) categories a maximum of ten (10) band and mode changes may be made in any clock hour (00 through 59 minutes. For example, five (5) band plus five (5) mode changes, where band together with mode change counts as one (1) change.

1. c)Band or mode change after 10th band / mode changes will be penalized with QSO points and mults deduction for those QSOs in particular hour.

10. DXCC ENTITY COMPETITION

A separate list of valid DXCC entity scores (the sum of all scores from valid DXCC country), regardless of club affiliation, will be published. ARRL DXCC Current Entities List is used for this purpose.

11. AWARDS (Plaques & Certificates)

European Champions in all categories will be awarded with plaques. It is strongly recommended to write exact operating frequency for each QSO in the Cabrillo log. Only logs with exact written frequencies will be eligible for the plaques.

The Contest Committee will, upon its own judgment, award certain number of certificates in each category.

12. PENALTIES

- For broken calls, bad exchanges, QSOs which do not appear in correspondent's log and other similar irregularities in the log QSO points and additional one (1) QSO point for each such error will be removed. High percentage of bad contacts or violation of contest rules shall result in dropping participant from the classification.

- Participants who were disqualified or sanctioned in other contests in previous year shall result in dropping participant from the classification.

- Other reasons, like non-submission of information requested from participant, could also lead to dropping the participant from the classification.

13. DISQUALIFICATION

Violation of contest rules, unsportsmanlike conduct or very high percentage of unverifiable QSOs will be deemed sufficient cause for disqualification. Disqualified operator will not be classified in European HF Championship standings in the year following disqualification.

14. SUPERVISION

The Organizer reserves its right to use any public available technology and to appoint different persons to check operation of different stations during the competition.

15. DECLARATION

By submitting the log you agree that:

1. a) you have read and understood the rules of the contest and agree to be bound by them,
2. b) you have operated according to all rules and regulations of your country that pertain to amateur radio,
3. c) your log and UBN report may be made open to the public, and
4. d) all actions and decisions of the Contest Committee are official and final.
5. DEADLINE AND LOG INSTRUCTIONS

The Cabrillo file format is the standard for logs. 

All submitted logs in Cabrillo format must be uploaded from the Log Submission page no later than 48 hours after the contest (Monday 23.59 UTC). 

Here is a sample/template how your EUHFC Cabrillo log should looks like.

Resumen de las bases para quienes no lean inglés. Doy por supuesto que vas a usar un programa de concursos que tenga la plantilla del concurso EUHFC, y que se encarga de sacar la cuenta de la vieja y facilitarnos la vida.

Contactos EU-EU únicamente, en CW o SSB o en las dos, siendo EU lo que figura así en la lista del DXCC

El sábado 4, de las 1200 UTC a las 2359 UTC

Bandas 160 a 10 metros, excepto WARC

Categorías  SINGLE-OP  ALL  HIGH/LOW  MIXED/CW/SSB     donde LOW es hasta 100 W  y donde MIXED significa que hay contactos en CW y en SSB.

No hacer autoavisos en el Cluster, pero se puede usar de todo: cluster, skimmer, etc.

Intercambio: RS(T) y los dos últimos años de tu primera licencia oficial.   1983 --> 83     2007 --> 07

Los puntos y multiplicadores que los cuente Rita (me refiero al N1MM o similar)

OJO: ¡solo se puede cambiar de banda 10 veces por hora o de banda/modo!  Si te pasas, después del 10 cambio, los QSO extra de esa hora penalizan.

En menos de 48 horas del final del concurso hay que enviar un Cabrillo. Si lo haces, se da por supuesto que:

1) has leído, entendido y cumplido las normas del concurso

2) has cumplido la normativa de tu país

3) tu log y el informe de fallos puede hacerse público, y

4) las decisiones del Comité del Concurso son inapelables.

Aconsejadme un programa para enviar el log porfa. Normalmente voy apuntando los contactos en papel y después lo traslado al pc.

PD. Saldré dando el año de mi segunda etapa (01), pues ya ni me acuerdo del año de la primera, sobre el 74 o 75.. no estoy seguro.

El N1MM lo tiene (EUHFC), aunque la hora de inicio no esta bien.

Es una delicia oir a los Old Timers y sobre todo ver que "las cazan al vuelo". Con mis 5 W y el QSB tan profundo que hay solo he tenido que repetir un par de veces... El mas "joven" un  "01" y el decano un "59" (LZ7A)  Y todos como maquinas a 26-30 ppm, aunque saben bajar cuando hace falta...

Pues a pesar del calor sofocante de ayer en el cuartito de radio del campero, a pesar de la lucha constante con los mosquitos carnívoros que tengo por aquí, a pesar de las velocidades supersónicas de algún participante, me lo pase pipa.

Las velocidades no fueron problema, algunos me costó descifrarlo pues no quise pedir QRS para no entorpecer.

Si no ocurre nada, participaré el próximo año.

Voy a pasar el log y a ver como me las arreglo para enviar el "cabrito"

Hay tiempo para fiestas y hay tiempo para la radio. Y la gozada de ayer fue tan grande como ver bajar a Celedón.

El decano, del 58, EA5ITT (DK5IM) y los más recientes, del 14. Y todos, al menos en CW, operando impecablemente.

Y ahora a esperar al CME.

Pues nada, eché un ratito a última hora, entre 40 y 20 y estuvo muy divertido.... 185 qso's al final.

Es un concurso muy interesante para poderlo hacer completo
